The Palissade Lounge Chair Low sits close to the ground with a reclined, unhurried posture that is immediately inviting. Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for HAY, it is built from powder-coated or hot-galvanised steel — engineered to be left outside through the seasons and to become more characterful over time.

The symmetrical geometry is precise and considered, giving the chair a visual simplicity that works as well on a terrace or balcony as it does in a garden or café. Available in five powder-coated colours — Anthracite, Cream White, Iron Red, Olive Green, and Sky Grey — as well as Hot Galvanised Steel. The Hot Galvanised finish has a deliberately rough, industrial character that develops its own patina outdoors over time.
