The Above pendant is the work of Danish designer Mads Odgård — a minimalist who believes in removing rather than adding. His brief to himself was straightforward: how simple do you dare to design? The result is a pendant of quiet confidence, defined by a graphic triangular silhouette and an arch-shaped opening at the top that gives the lamp its name.
The conical form is white-painted on the inside, distributing soft, even downlight across the space below. The opening at the top reveals the cord and casts a discreet upward glow onto the arch above — adding subtle ambience without competing with the pendant’s clean lines. The Above reads as a complete, considered object whether lit or unlit.
Available in 175mm, 250mm, and 400mm in White or Black. Light source E27 — max 60W (175mm & 250mm), max 100W (400mm). IP20 rated, Class II.
